AI Visibility
AI Share of Voice
You cannot improve what you never measured. We put a number on how often AI answers name you instead of a competitor.
The metric that makes AI visibility manageable
AI share of voice is the percentage of relevant answers that mention your brand, measured across a fixed set of prompts and engines. It turns a vague worry into a number you can track, benchmark and act on.
Measured properly it also tells you where to spend. A low share on comparison prompts but a high one on definitional questions points at a very different next move than the reverse.
How we measure it
- 01
Prompt set design
A fixed, representative set of the questions your buyers actually ask, covering every stage from research to decision.
- 02
Multi-engine sampling
The same prompts run across ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity and AI Overviews, because visibility differs sharply between them.
- 03
Competitor benchmarking
Your share against the named alternatives, so the number has context rather than sitting alone.
- 04
Trend reporting
Month over month movement, broken down by prompt category, so you can see which work is paying off.
- 05
Action list
Every report ends with the specific pages, entities and sources to address next.
Measurement questions
How many prompts do you track?
Typically 30 to 60 for a focused category. Enough for a stable signal, few enough that each one stays commercially meaningful.
Do answers not change every time?
They vary, which is exactly why we sample repeatedly and report a rate rather than a single snapshot. Trends over a fixed prompt set are stable enough to steer by.
Can we track competitors too?
Yes, and we recommend it. Your share only means something next to who is taking the rest of it.
